About the Author
Iam K. Rajaram, born at Madurai in Tamilnadu State, South India, in 1949, in a middle class family. Studied Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and worked as a Supervisor and as Manager for about 35 years in Government Transport Corporation, at Coimbatore and Nilgris Districts, and retired during April,2007. After retirement,time passing becomes a big task, which inturn induced me to learn something. I read books related to Religious, Yoga, and Cooking. Cooking was impressed me very much, since I do not know nothing about cooking except preparing boiled water. Hence I prepared my mind to cook some simple dish first, after going through some cook books, I prepared a side dish, which was very much appreciated by my family members and as well as my neighbourers. This lite the concept, to create this website, so as any one like me will be definetly benfited and become a master in cooking with their innovative ideas. My mother’s “Recpies” were remembered always by my relatives as well as my friends, she prepared only vegetarian meals and dishes since our family is pure vegetarian.Unfortunately she passed away in 2000,but her blessings are always with me and her experiences guides me to venture in my small assignment through this website to cater the needy persons like me.
In our Tamil language, there is a proverb “Chithiramum kai pazhakkam, sen Thamizhum nappazhakkam” which means Art is very easy when we make use of our hands and knowing a language is also very easy when the tongue tries frequently. Likewise, Cooking is easy while practising it sincerely and confidently. Purpose of this website is to make every one to become an expert in cooking with all the traditional values, and to induce the creativity in everyones mind. I will with my sincere effort make every one happy living by way of happy and healthy cooking in the fallowing programmes, especially in Vegetarian South Indian dishes.
